Here's what you can do in the Louisville area this week: 

Crestwood Quads, Rods & Custom Car Show. The Maples Park, 6431 Railroad Ave., Crestwood, 5-10 p.m. Friday. Car show, DJ, and food. Food trucks include Smokin' Dawgs, Taqueria la Guerita, Hive & Barrel Meadery, Mile Wide Brewing, and Fitz Freeze. Free.

9th Annual How-To Festival. Louisville Free Public Library, Main Branch, 301 York St., 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. This year’s festival has more than 50 things to learn and is a mix of past favorites - how to do Tai Chi, homebrew beer, and grow delicious tomatoes and new lessons, such as how to make and decorate tasty dog treats, perform modern dance and create digital music. Other topics include how to plan a cross-country trip in an electric vehicle and how to buy and sell a home in a crazy market. The Louisville Urban Agriculture Coalition, How-To will once again feature three gardening tents with classes presented by Urban Ag member groups, including Kentuckiana Beekeepers, Wild Ones, and Master Gardeners. Flea Off Market. Monnik Beer Company, 1036 E Burnett Ave., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 14.  Part of the the Spring Schnitzelburg Walk. Stroll down Hickory Street by Monnik to browse more than 10+ local vendors, food by Monnik, live music, and craft beer. Music by Beware the Images, Darlington Pairs, Future Fossils, Kinni Moon and The Golden Whip. Admission is free.

Locust Grove Gardener’s Fair. 561 Blankenbaker Lane, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Features vendors selling seeds, flowers, vegetable plants, garden tools, and garden-focused goods such as birdhouses, lawn ornaments, flowerpots, and more.

ZooPoopyDoo Compost Sale. Louisville Zoo, 1100 Trevilian Way, 7:30-11:30 a.m. Saturdays through May 14. High-quality compost. Products will be loaded into your vehicle (open-top truck beds and trailers only). $40 per scoop. in the Zoo’s Bus parking lot. louisvillezoo.org.

In this fashion show, community leaders walk their own or an adoptable dog down the runway, showing off the latest spring fashions. Diving Deep: Chris Fischer’s Journey to Save Sharks and Bring Balance to Our Oceans. Part Republic Bank Foundation Speaker Series. Bluegrass PugFest. West Hall A, Kentucky Exposition Center, 937 Phillips Lane, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday Pugfest is a celebration of the Pug and features 40,000 square feet of vendors, silent auctions, educational sessions, rescue booths, Pug competitions including costume, pug races, custard eating, talent, king/queen and more. Wild Lights Lantern Festival. Louisville Zoo, 1100 Trevilian Way, 6:30-10:30 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays through June 5. Enjoy one of the largest lantern festivals in the nation featuring thousands of handcrafted silk-covered lanterns aglow with more than 50,000 LED light bulbs that include a variety of animal lanterns, including mammals, birds, and insects, a 98-foot-long dragon, mythical Chinese creatures, and a promenade walk-through. Guests may also enjoy interactive photo opportunities. Also, handcrafted goods are available for purchase, nightly cultural performances on the MetaZoo stage, and Asian-fusion cuisine by Service Systems Associates (SSA). Louisville Ghost Walk Tour. Meet at the statue of Mr. Brown, on the 4th Street side of the Brown Hotel, 7 p.m. Fridays. Hear stories told by author Robert Parker, of the Haunted Louisville series of books, telling the stories of ghosts from murder, mystery, death, restless spirits, and intrigue.
