Marvel fans aren’t the only ones who want to see Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine in the MCU as Sandra Bullock has quite a hot take for Marvel’s brass.

The X-Men will soon be making their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and, while we might not know when or who will arrive first, fans definitely have their eyes on a few characters.

Among the many X-Men characters fans have been longing to see join the MCU is one of the most beloved X-Men comic characters of all-time: Wolverine.

While it’s impossible to imagine anyone else playing the character after Hugh Jackman’s iconic run as the character across 20th Century Fox’s X-Men film franchise, it’s only a matter of time before Marvel taps a new actor to take on the iconic role. And while Marvel is remaining tight-lipped regarding its plans for the character and his fellow X-Men, fans definitely have their eyes on a few actors and have been quite vocal in sharing their thoughts.

Among the shortlist of actors whose names fans have been tossing around is Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe. We’ve seen what he could look like as the character thanks to many talented artists and there has been a clear interest among fans in seeing him take on the role.

Now it seems one of Radcliffe’s costars is joining the fan cast efforts with some choice words for Marvel Studios.

This March, Sandra Bullock and Daniel Radcliffe teamed up for their first movie together, Paramount Pictures’s The Lost City, and the two have been on an extended press tour to promote the film.

While the focus of the press tour has been, understandably, about promoting The Lost City, the team over at It’s Gone Viral couldn’t pass up the opportunity to ask Radcliffe about the Wolverine casting rumors which led to quite a passionate response from his costar.

After asking Radcliffe about the rumor, the former Harry Potter star jokingly laughed off the rumor which he pointed out has been going strong for three years. Bullock then asked Radcliffe why he doesn’t just accept the role at which time he mentioned no one had asked him about the role which sparked a hilarious response from Bullock.

“Wolverine people, can you please just f***ing cast him. Just do it,” Bullock playfully said, calling upon Marvel brass to “stop tiptoeing around and having people ask at press junkets. Just cast the man.”

Although fans are pushing for Daniel Radcliffe to play Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Radcliffe has not been cast as Wolverine. In fact, if his comments are to be believed, Marvel hasn’t even reached out to approach him about the role.

Of course, we’ve seen actors lie about joining a Marvel project in the past so there is a chance he could have had meetings with Marvel or even filmed an appearance as the character in the MCU. However, there has been no confirmation that he’s been cast in any Marvel project at this time.
